From the Cleveland Museum of Art record
A sumptuous palace setting depicts the women’s quarters. In the upper register a woman approaches a bed made under a canopy on a terrace overlooking a lotus pool in the middle of which is a pleasure pavilion. An attendant holds a peacock tail feather whisk to indicate the royal status of the woman in the center; two musicians play drum and cymbals in the lower right. “Dipak” means lamp; one attendant holds a lamp; another is on a golden stand.
