How it works
Review the data
We review available collection data: CSV exports, APIs, JSON, XML, public object pages, search feeds, or other structured sources.
Build the index
Records are mapped into a search-ready format while preserving source attribution, object URLs, image references, and institutional context.
Test search behavior
We test real discovery scenarios: object types, makers, materials, cultures, periods, places, themes, public-language queries, and multilingual queries where useful.
Deliver the prototype
You receive a working search interface, API-ready search results, or both, plus notes on what worked, what failed, and what should happen next.

Who it is for
This pilot is designed for small and mid-sized museums, university museums, historical societies, archives, libraries with special collections, and cultural heritage organizations that want better discovery but have limited technical capacity.
What it does not do
LinkedCulture does not replace your collection management system, alter authoritative records, claim institutional endorsement, or generate unsupported object interpretation. The museum's own object records remain authoritative.
