From the Cleveland Museum of Art record

The king, who has the title of “maharana” in this region, is identifiable by his halo. At the bottom of the composition, he is pictured three times, welcoming two distinguished visitors who arrived in palanquins. He is shown again, standing behind a safety net at the corner of the white platform. He aims his arrow to shoot the boar and demonstrate his skill and virility. Two tigers are led into the arena at the top edge, and they are depicted multiple times chasing and capturing the prey. The enclosure wall is shown from multiple perspectives, sometimes from above, sometimes in elevation.
