Photograph of a spandrel that is part of the fresco by Raphael and his workshop in the Loggia of Cupid and Psyche in the Villa Farnesina. It depicts Venus and Jupiter conversing with each other. Venus is depicted as a nude female figure with two doves flying behind her, while Jupiter is shown here as a bearded man, resting his leg on an eagle. The scene is framed with elaborate festoons of various plants painted by Giovanni da Udine.
