From the Getty Museum record

On the interior of this Attic black-figure cup is a central medallion with the head of a monstrous gorgon; she has a grimacing mouth and a protruding tongue. Around the central medaillion is a frieze of six symposiasts, or revelers who recline beneath two pairs in intertwined grapevines. Four of the symposiasts are holding drinking vessels, and one is playing a lyre. The exterior of the bowl is decorated with pairs of eyes on either side. Between the eyes on side A, Dionysos and Herakles stand facing eachother. Dionysos holds a large kantharos (drinking cup) in his right hand, and the stalk of a grape vine in his left. Herakles is wearing the skin of the Nemean lion over his head and shoulders. He carries a club in his right hand and he has a quiver of arrows slung across his right shoulder. Between the eyes on side B, Herakles is pictured again, here he is wrestling the sea monster Triton. Intertwined grapevines fill in the spaces around the handles.
