View of the Botanical or Public Garden, what is now the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens, looking northeast toward Victoria Harbor, formerly known as Hong Kong Harbor. A garden pavilion is on the left area of the image, next to a fountain. Also visible is Government House, a palatial building with a flag pole in the center of the image. St. John's Cathedral, with its distinctive bell tower, is visible on the center right area. A large number of ships and small boats can be seen in the harbor.
