From the Getty Museum record

The broad face features small, almond-shaped eyes with thick eyelids, a straight nose, fleshy, barely-open lips, and a rounded chin. Short, curly locks frame the face and are held by a ribbon, the ends of which fall in the middle of the forehead. Lightly-incised wavy locks extend to the nape of the neck. The figure wears hoop earrings. This type of head, though not widespread, is present in the repertory of early Hellenistic terracotta sculpture from Taranto.
