From the Getty Museum record
Seated portrait of three men in a studio setting, one of whom is sitting between the other two. The seated man is holding a fan, and wears a dark-colored silk jacket with intricate embroidery and a light-colored bottom. Each of the other men wears a hat that is typically worn by officials during the Qing dynasty, with a wide, upright brim and adorned with peacock feathers. The set features a carpet with a distinctive pattern and a baseboard along the bottom of a plain background.
