From the Getty Museum record

The under-life-size statue represents a standing nude figure in an exaggerated S-shaped pose. The slender and curving waist, soft musculature, narrow chest, and the absence of pubic hair indicate the adolescent age of the boy. He wears a type of cloak known as a chlamys, attached at the right shoulder with a circular clasp or fibula. The chlamys hangs down the back, leaving the right buttock and leg exposed. In Roman art, this dress and pose was often used for representations of eroticized boys from well-known myths, such as Ganymede or Paris. The separately carved head is now missing, but a small fragment on the left shoulder may represent a lock of hair or the flap of a soft Phrygian cap.
