From the Museo Egizio record
Inlay for the right eye of an anthropoid coffin or of a statue. The eye is elongated by a cosmetic line. The inner side features a guide protruding for insertion, with traces of whitish material, probably plaster. Two small bronze protrusions are present halfway along the eye. The outer part is smoother than the inner side. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts. Dimensions: 13.5 cm x 4 cm x 4.3 cm. Museum location: Not on display.
