Apis bull statuette

Figure of Apis bull, striding with left legs forward. He has a solar disc between his horns, decorated with the uraeus featuring indicated ventral scales. A triangle is incised on the forehead. The bovine ears protrude from the sides of the head. The upper part of the neck forms a fat hump. An incised winged sun is depicted on the withers, while a vulture decorates on the rump. A cloth is incised on the back. The tail runs along the right hind leg. The figure rests on a hollow rectangular base, from which two tenons project down. The statuette is mounted on a modern wooden base. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts. Dimensions: 2.5 cm x 7.5 cm x 7.2 cm.
