From the Museo Egizio record

The cubit (Latin: cubitum, “elbow”, e.g. “meh”) was a standard measure, comparable to our meter, and corresponds to the length of a forearm plus the breadth of a hand (approx. 52 cm.). Kha owned a folding cubit rod which he probably used at work, whereas this wooden example covered in gold leaf is a token of appreciation of king Amenhotep II and an instrument of royal propaganda that celebrates, in the text in relief, the pharaoh’s military valor. Dimensions: 52.4 cm x 2.2 cm x 3 cm. Museum location: Museum / Floor 1 / Room 07 / Showcase 09. Image views available: 11.
