The front (obverse) of this coin portrays Alexander the Great as Herkales, indicated by the hero's signature lion skin cloak. On the back (reverse) the god Zeus is depicted seated, with an eagle in his right hand and a staff in his left. The forepart of a ram is visible directly in front of him.
