The front (obverse) of this coin depicts the god Mars, wearing a helmet and with a trophy on his shoulder. On the back (reverse), a figure on horseback holds a staff. Beneath the horse's hooves a violent scene plays out, with the figure at right raising his sword to stab the figure at left, shown kneeling.
