On a plain golden tan ground is a dark band containing two rows of a plaited Kufic inscription woven in the weft direction. The golden tan lettering within each band is oriented in the warp direction. The upper inscription row is three times larger than lower. The plain area below the inscription band and the inscription band are woven in compound tabby. The plain area above inscription band is woven in 3/1 broken twill.
