This page provides the genealogy of the donor, who is from the Shaurani branch of the Ukesa family, which was prominent in Gujarat. Jain manuscripts of the Kalpa-sutra and Story of Kalaka often conclude with a colophon that states when and where the manuscript was made, as is found on the recto of this folio. The genealogy of the donor's family, on the verso, follows the colophon. There may have been one more page after this one containing the remainder of the genealogy. The lamp black ink for the text was made from mixing carbon, water, and gum Arabic in copper pots.
