View of the helix approach to the entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel in New Jersey from the top of a set of concrete steps. The steps are crumbling in several places and have been roped off, and rebar grids and wood sheets rest on one of the landings. A kid stands on the steps about halfway up, facing the camera, with both arms held out to the sides, and a group of several more children gather at the base of the steps. Rows of cars and trucks cover a parking lot at the center of the helix, and traffic moves across the highway around it. The Hudson River and the Manhattan skyline can be seen in the distance.
