This head of a woman is turned slightly to the left. Her lips are thick and pursed, the nose large and flat. Her hair is parted in the middle and pulled back in waves above the ears. A channel above the front hair indicates that a ribbon encircled the head to hold the hair in place. Neither the background attachment point nor the contour of a three-dimensional figure is preserved. The small scale of the head suggests that it may have belonged to a votive relief. However, the head could also have come from a statuette of a female figure.
