What the image shows
A person's silhouette is seen from behind, facing a large drawing of nude figures.
Generated by LinkedCulture from the photograph alone, without the museum’s catalogue text (Qwen/Qwen2.5-VL-7B-Instruct), and not yet reviewed by a person. It describes the picture, not the object’s history, and it is not part of the museum’s record.
From the Getty Museum record
Portrait of a man whose face is obscured by shadows. A large painting hangs on the wall behind him. This photograph is from a series of portraits of the sons and daughters of people who disappeared during the 1976 -1978 military dictatorship in Tucumán. The artist let the protagonists, who now were approximately the same age as their parents when they disappeared, decide the location and the objects presented in the portraits. The series shows the special connection of the sons and daughters with the photographs of their parents that have become relics of their memory.
The authoritative record is held by Getty Museum. LinkedCulture surfaces this object and its connections; it does not alter institutional metadata.
