From the Getty Museum record
View of an ivy-covered stone bridge, possibly the Pont de Bétharram, also known as the Pont de Lierre or Ivy Bridge, over the Ousse River. The ivy almost covers the entire bridge, with only a short section at the center of the span visible, and the vines grow long enough to nearly touch the surface of the water. A stone house with a small balcony that overhangs the river can be seen through the bridge's arch.
