A view of the city square known as Hoher Markt in Vienna. An elaborate fountain, the Vermählungsbrunnen, is on the left side of the street. Four columns support a baldachin, a ceremonial canopy, over the basin of the fountain. Statues depicting the marriage of Joseph and Mary are under the canopy and are surrounded by four statues of angels. Horse-drawn carts line the side of the street nearest the fountain.
