Section of lip and upper part from the vessel's figured zone (Ure’s Class of Skyphoi A 1). Exterior, head of satyr facing right, raising his left hand before a maenad (head only). Glazed mouth, convex and tooled on the exterior. The topside of the lip is reserved. Below the tooled groove, the upper border of the figured zone is indicated by a dilute band. Interior, black.
