Shallow hemispherical bowl of the Spurinas Group, with a flat rim and a low ring foot (Bernardini form IIIa). It has been reconstructed from large pieces but still has four sizeable lacunae. Added white on the exterior of the foot and below the rim. The exterior also bears a wide black band framed by incised grooves. Within, a painted inscription of nine characters and a punctuation mark of two dots surrounds a black gloss circle, giving the name Calprnies, an Etruscan version of the Latin name Calpurnius.. The inscription is framed by concentric black bands. Black gloss under the foot.
