Artemis of Ephesos standing facing front; fillets hang from her arms, and two stags stand at her feet; short groundline. The cult of Ephesian Artemis was one of the most popular and widespread in the imperial period. Gems depicting the distinctive statue are very common, as are statues in marble, bronze, and other materials. Two corners have large chips.
