Head of woman in profile to left. She wears a radiate stephane, a sakkos decorated with black and white stripes and dots with a bow at the top tied by a white ribbon, a long beaded earring, and a necklace. In the field above left is a fillet in shades of dilute glaze with details in yellow and white; a plant is in the lower left field. Behind the head, in the lower right field, is a rosette. The oinochoe has a high handle with a double ridge; a trefoil mouth; and a foot in three degrees. On the neck: three encircling, concentric bands of white; below these, nine white rays. On the shoulder: wave pattern; reserved band. Below the handle: a large palmette-fan with side-scrolls and smaller half-fans. Below the picture and palmette: a reserved band and brown glaze band. After Jentoft-Nilsen, M. R. and Trendall, A.D., CVA Malibu 3 (1990).
