Illustrated by an unknown artist in the Workshop of Valentine Noh (active 1470’s) this Prayer Book is a miscellany of different prayers that were said during communion. The book was illustrated in the International Gothic Style, a style that was popular in the fifteenth century due its use of rich coloration, rustic authenticity and illustrations grounded in biblical pictorial tradition.
