Part of the shoulder and body of side A. Exterior, head and upper body of a young warrior facing left. His right arm is extended, his torso bared in three-quarter view. He wears a crested helmet with the cheekpiece raised to reveal a serpent on the inner face. A himation is draped over his right arm. In his left hand he holds a spear, and he carries a round shield on his left arm (device: eagle to left, with a serpent in its beak). Interior, glazed at the shoulder, otherwise undecorated. Adapted from Neer, R., CVA Malibu 7 (1997).
