Large section of a kantharos decorated with relief figures of a satyr and sleeping maenad. Preserved is part of the face and outstretched arm of the satyr (added red for beard, white on teeth) and a section of the maenad's body (added white).A large section of the vessel behind the maenad is also preserved (undecorated). Red-figure decoration on the wall of the vase above: a draped figure sitting on a stool wearing high gaiters and sandals; to the right, a second figure. Interior: black.
