Portrait of a woman sitting at a table with her cheek resting on her hand and her elbow resting on the table. The wall behind her is filled with hung paintings and photographs. A vase with flowers sits next to her on the table. This photograph is from a series of portraits of the sons and daughters of people who disappeared during the 1976 -1978 military dictatorship in Tucumán. The artist let the protagonists, who now were approximately the same age as their parents when they disappeared, decide the location and the objects presented in the portraits. The series shows the special connection of the sons and daughters with the photographs of their parents that have become relics of their memory.
