The roundel is a composite of fragments, possibly from a related series of windows, assembled by a later restorer into the current setting suggesting figures gathered at a table. It includes elements of faces, clothing, architecture, and foliage all composed around a central piece showing a hand and some food. Distinctive features of the painting include the deep volumes of the draped cloth and the expressive rendering of the eyes.
