An explosion of an atomic bomb captured less than 1 millisecond after detonation at the Nevada Proving Grounds, now known as the Nevada Test Site (NTS) and National Security Site (NNSS) for the Atomic Energy Commission. This photograph was captured several miles away with a lens ten feet long.
