Discus Iconography: Meleager and the Calydonian boar. The nude Meleager is spearing the boar hiding under a tree on the right; only its forequarters are visible. Description: Moldmade, from plaster mold. Solid round ring handle. Blurred shoulder with a row of raised tongues, separated from discus by a thin twisted cord marked off by two circular grooves. Same-sized filling-hole and air hole on discus. Heart-shaped nozzle. Raised rounded base-ring, within which are fifteen rays forming a star-pattern.
