Stamnos fragment with head of bearded Hermes on the left facing head of bridled horse on the right. Hermes is clad in a chiton with a draped himation visible over his right shoulder, and he wears a winged helmet. Attention is given to detailed articulation of facial features. The fragment is a modern forgery and painted in a manner of the Kleophrades Painter of the early fifth century B.C.
