Oval gem (probably type C8) inset into a hollow gold ring. Gem is engraved with the image of a warrior, probably Mars (Greek: Ares), wearing armor and a crested helmet. He stands frontally with his head turned to the left, leaning on a long spear held in his right hand and his left holds a sword. To his left is a shield resting on a garlanded altar.
