Photograph of "Andromeda," a bronze statue designed by John Bell and cast by the Coalbrookdale Company. It depicts the Greek mythological figure as a nude female figure standing and chained to a plinth, with her hands behind her back and the chain hanging down her leg. The plinth features a Medusa head medallion, putti, and sea creatures. An ornamental metal barrier can be seen around the base of the statue.
