Female (?) figure in a long dress holding a long staff (trident? kerykeion? thyrsos?) and an animal by the hind legs; hatched border. The scarab is carefully cut, with relief legs, V-shaped winglets, and hatched thorax and plinth. The ring has a hoop made from gold wire with eye-shaped terminals; another gold wire is tightly coiled along its entire length; a third, short wire is passed through the scarab and then passes through the terminal "eyes," through two cup-shaped terminals, and ends in tight spirals.
