View of the Lal Dighi, a large artificial water tank that is part of the B.B.D. Bagh area, previously known as Tank Square or Dalhousie Square. Writers' Building, an elongated building with three visible pediments is visible on the center left area of the image. Adjacent to it is St. Andrew's Church with its portico and tiered steeple. A few people can be seen in the garden in the foreground.
