Discus Iconography: Two gladiators (Myrmillones[?]); standing victor at left with short straight sword, putting his left hand on his adversary's shoulder; at right, the latter has fallen to the ground, still holding his curved sword (sica); both wear loincloth, plumed helmet, greaves (ocreae), and arm protections (manicae). Description: Moldmade. Shoulder: Loeschcke form VII b. Filling-hole in lower part. Air hole at top of nozzle. Round-tipped volute-nozzle. Base marked off by one circular groove. Potter's incuse signature: MVNARES.
