In his vision, Saint John sees angels, martyrs holding palms, and the four living creatures all paying homage to the lamb. Here the lamb stands on an altar while the Lord sits above it on the mandorla that encircles the lamb. On the left, one of the twenty-four elders points to the words on a scroll recording his conversation with John.
