View of two men sitting on the steps at the Nikko Tosho-gu Shrine. Stone tachidoro, or pedestal lanterns, line the lower terrace wall on both sides of the steps leading to the Yomeimon Gate. Tall pine trees grow on the middle terrace, just behind the two men, and tower over the shrine buildings.
