Circular gold hoop earring with a terminal in the shape of an antelope head (a pair with 92.AM.8.3.1). Gold wire was wrapped around a gold core to make the tapered hoop; a catch loop was attached under the head to secure the hoop end. The tiny, very detailed antelope head was created by fusing together two repoussé sheet gold halves. The ears and horns were separately fashioned of sheet gold and beaded wire; the eyes are likely to have been inlaid with precious stones, now missing.
