Part of a three-panel panorama showing a section of the city of Foochow or Fuzhou. This view looks toward part the riverbank settlements around the Min River. A bridge can be seen spanning across the river, with numerous "sampans" or small, covered boats moored along the banks. A few people are on board a small boat on the lower left area of the image, while a section of a cemetery and a whitewashed wall is visible in the foreground.
