Sarcophagus lid, preserved in two fragments, with a hunting scene set between bearded heads as akroteria. On the left fragment, a lion has pulled down a man. A young hunter with a dog approaches from the left and wields a spear towards the lion. Further to the right, a third man is throwing a stone at the lion. Beyond the lion, a head turned to the right in very low relief, is visible. On the right fragment a deer (or stag, the head is missing) leaps to the right and is attacked by two dogs. Further to the right, a bearded man dressed in a chiton, bent forward and carrying a spear in his left arm, looks to the left and raises his right hand. The background of both fragments is interspersed with trees.
