Statuette of a nude Venus with her hands held above her shoulders, likely adjusting a necklace (now missing). She stands on a round base in a slight contrapposto pose with her weight on her right leg and her left knee bent. Her hair is pulled back into a low bun and she wears a diadem. She may be a variation of a mid-4th century B.C. statue of Aphrodite Pselioumene (Aphrodite fastening a necklace) by Praxiteles.
