Discus Iconography: Garland of acanthus leaves and lotus flowers. Description: Moldmade, from plaster mold. Shoulder: Loeschcke form I. Shoulder separated from the narrow flat-bottomed central discus area by a garland. Filling-hole surrounded by three ridges. Small air hole in front of the angular-tipped volute-nozzle. Stamped ovolo underneath the nozzle. Raised base-ring marked off by two circular grooves. Potter's mark: C[ - ] I F(?). There seem to be four letters in slight relief. Under the base-ring a workshop mark stamped in the mold: an ovolo.
