One of three tipped-in photographs illustrating a printed map of Castle Eaton, Kempsford, and the surrounding area along the River Thames. The photograph shows a view of Henry Taunt crouched on the bank of the river at a small weir, or dam. Taunt holds the bow of a canoe floating on the water as a second man crouches near him on the riverbank. Taunt's photographic tent stands in a field behind the men.
