Composed of five joined fragments, preserving around half of the bowl and base of one of the handles. Everted rim, with narrow reserved line beneath the lip. Exterior, broad reserved band, black above and below, with narrow reserved band lower down. On the more fully preserved side, a palmette beside the handle, before which sits a sphinx, with paw raised, looking back. At right, a male figure in himation, facing right (head missing). On the other side, a palmette beside the handle, before which sits a sphinx, with paw raised, looking back. Small segment of tendril and handle root. Interior, black, with reserved band at rim and reserved tondo. 81.AE.201.4.b belongs with this fragment, but does not join.
