View of the remains of the Auteuil area of Paris in the aftermath of the Paris Commune. Piles of rubble and debris cover the ground around the crumbling walls of buildings destroyed by fire. A few people can be seen scattered around the area among several horse-drawn carriages that move around the street among the destruction. Small tables are set up in front of a building on the right side of the image.
