The terracotta statuette depicts a charioteer driving a quadriga (four-horse chariot) and accompanied by a warrior. Both men are bearded and wear conical Cypriot caps or helmets. Two of the four horses are missing, although the stumps of their legs remain attached to the base. The chariot has a high rounded back. The two wheels on either side of the axle were originally painted, but the pigment no-longer survives.
