Group portrait of five native officers with three of them seated. The caption that accompanies the portrait identifies two of the sitters, including a man inferred from the caption as Khoda Bux, also transliterated as Khoda Buksh, who was a survivor of General Wheeler's Entrenchment in Kanpur or Cawnpore during the 1857-1858 Indian Uprising. Bux is seated in the front center, holding his sword.
